Adhesive allergies and sensitivities are one of the areas I've spent the most time researching throughout my career. 

By better understanding adhesive ingredients, client history, contributing factors, and appropriate troubleshooting, I've been able to retain approximately 98% of the clients who suddenly developed an adhesive allergy or sensitivity.

Two clients clients had true adhesive allergies. They reacted not only to lash adhesive, but also to the adhesive found on common bandages that children wear. Those clients were no longer candidates for lash extensions.

Many lash technicians eventually reach a point in their career where they begin thinking about teaching others. 

Before becoming an educator, I encourage technicians to first become an exceptional working lash professional.

Students don't simply need someone who can demonstrate lash application.

They need someone who can answer questions, troubleshoot unexpected situations, explain why something happened, and mentor them through the challenges that every new technician eventually encounters.

Those skills aren't developed by completing another certification.

They're developed through years of working with clients, solving problems, and continuously learning.

When you're able to confidently explain not only how to perform a service, but also why you perform it that way, you may be ready to begin mentoring the next generation of lash professionals.

Lash Intensive® was created to support experienced technicians who want to expand beyond the lash bed and become trusted educators and mentors in their communities.

It depends on where and how you plan to teach. 

If your goal is to teach within a licensed beauty school, you'll need to meet your state's instructor and educational requirements. 

If your passion is mentoring or coaching lash technicians who already meet the legal requirements to perform lash services in their state, your pathway may be different. Before offering any educational program, always verify your state's laws and regulations.
